Review: Tony Moly Luminous Aura Capsule CC cream SPF 50+

Sorry for the lack of posts these past few weeks. I have already reviewed most of the makeup related products that I have owned so I couldn't upload more posts since I didn't have anything to review on. But I remembered that I have yet to try the CC cream that I brought for my parents so I decided to review on this product whilst it's still new.

This CC cream is said to be a 10 in 1 product. This is already better compared to the Etude house one which is 8 in 1. The 10 things that this CC cream will provide are the following:

  • Sunscreen
  • Whitening
  • Wrinkle repair
  • Blemish cover
  • Healthy radiance
  • Complexion correction
  • Nutrition
  • Moisturizing hydration
  • Offers luminous aura
  • Makeup long lasting power

For people that are a little curious on what is used to produce this product. I have found information from their website. Tony Moly uses 7 non additives formula which are Benzophenone, talc, mineral oil, organic color, benzyl alcohol, triethanolamine, sulfate surfactant free and contains  20% of hyaluronic acid water.

Now finally on to the product itself. This is the first time using this brands makeup product since I have only tried Innisfree or Etude House makeup products. For the pictures that I have shown of no makeup and to apply the CC cream on itself on my face. You can see there isn't much different as I have only applied one pump of the products. But I am sure if you add more products the coverage of the CC cream and the whitening effect would be much better.

The amount of product I put on my face was only able to cover up the smaller pimples and lighter scars on my face but was unable to cover up my larger scar on my nose area as you can see on my picture. But this CC cream did reduce my redness as in the morning my redness and it did help even out my skin tone which I really like about this cc cream. Compared to Etude House's CC cream that I tried this one the matte kind of finish rather than dewy which I really like since I don't like dewy or glowy finish as I already have a little bit of oily parts like my T-zone area so I don't want to make my face produce even more oil after wearing the Etude House CC cream for a long period of time. This CC cream is like the Etude House Cotton fit BB cream it feels really nice and it helps to make my face really natural as you can see the pictures doesn't have much difference. Also the matte finish is the best point about this CC cream that I like more compared to the Etude House one.

But there are disadvatnages of this CC cream which is the price of this CC cream costs around $26 which is expensive compared to Etude house. But this CC cream does contain more amount of product which is 50ml whereas Etude House on contains 30ml (I think...). I haven't worn this CC cream for a long period of time yet so I don't know when my face ill start to get oily. But I think because of the matte finish it might last longer around 6-8 hours my t-zone area would get oily.

Overall I really like this CC cream compared to the Etude House one. I think that for the price I am paying for this product is worth it and it was worth the investment of trying this brand CC creams since in Korea this brands other CC creams are really popular as well, but due to the price I was hesitating on getting the Etude House which was a cheaper option but this CC cream was good but made my face oily which I hate.
