Review: Teen's Nature (TN) Sun Balm SPF50 PA+++ and Fashion Monday

This week I will be reviewing what I got from Gmarket awhile ago. This is from the brand Teen's Nature from Korea is it a well known brand created for teenagers. But is also popular amongst 20's as well.

The packaging of the sun balm is really simple and light which is just what I need since I will be carrying and using this everywhere so I want it to me simple and light to just put in my bag. Since Sunbalm and suncream is a necessary item as you must apply it everyday to protect your skin from UV rays.

The product inside:

First of all not many people have heard or tried of sun balm before. It comes in a pact with a puff included. Works as well as suncream also this sun balm includes whitening so when applied to face it actually makes your skin tone a little lighter than usual. Sun cream doesn't have any whitening or other skin benefits other than protecting from sun.

The ingredients for this sun balm is shown below:

I decided to purchase this sun balm was because it's very hard to find SPF 50 sun creams in the UK and if I find them they are quite expensive and I saw sun balm available on Gmarket and thought if foundation pact can last that long for me then so would the sun balm. Since sun cream's I use up very quickly which is while I decided to see if this sun balm would actually last me longer.

I have used this once when going out and my face didn't feel oily at all. But this could be my skin complexion and some people might find this oily on their face compared to me. But this product has claimed that this is a low-oil product.  Usually suncream you would have to reapply after a few hours since the sun block effect would be gone after a few hours. When I applied this on my face the stickiness was still on my face after 4 hours so I think I need to reapply this balm after 5 hours to ensure that my face is protected from sun rays but you can prefer not to carry this step if you don't like the feeling of the stickiness. This sun balm just like suncream is a little sticky when applied but compared to the suncream that I apply sun balm is less sticky and feels lighter on my face. Also there is a suncream smell to it which I personally don't really like about sun creams.

Maybe because I'm not used to putting sun balm on my face I feel like I can't feel much use to this compared to sun cream at least you feel the stickiness which makes you feel like its working. But I guess not feeling the sun balm on your face is a good thing. But I would buy sun balm again but I will try another brand to try out different types next time when I finish this.

You can see that the sun balm actually makes my face a little bit brighter than usual.

On to this weeks Fashion Monday. This week in UK there is amazing weather (extremely sunny) which is very good as it has been ages since it's been so hot in the UK. So I decided to find the simple outfit suitable for hot weather. My top is from Hollister and the bralette is from their sister store Gilly Hicks. My shorts are purchase from Urban Outfitter from the brand Levi's. This weeks shoes are still Converse. My cap is from an online Korean websiter called Hatson their sell various brand of caps worn by many Kpop Idols. My cap is seen on Taeyeon in 'I Got a Boy' MV.

For today's makeup I mixed Etude House BB cotton fit with their CC cream together since I saw on one of their Get it Beauty Self their mixed these two together to create a nice 'Korean Idol' makeup look. I also used Etude House cute eye maker as well. No lipstick or any eyeliner just those 3 products really simple.

Most of the time my nails will have nothing but I just felt that today I wanted to do a Apink inspired nails. Since the weather is really nice I just wanted to paint my nails. I saw Apink with really nice light pink and white type of nails so I decided to do that as well. I wanted to originally buy the Rimmel's baby pink colour but I wanted to use up my nail varnish a bit more before purchasing. So I thought of just mixing my pink with the white varnish to produce a baby pink colour for the hearts on my nails.

The products I used are:

Rimmel 025 Strawberry Fizz (really smells like strawberry when applied on nails)
Rimmel 500 Disco Ball
Rimmel Super wear top coat
Konad white nail polish (from a long time ago)
Small heart rinestones for decorating
Toothpink or Bobbypin

The final look which I'm not actually liking since it's really messy so I might need more practice on this style to make them look better. Otherwise this type of nails I really like really simple yet cute at the same time.
